Why people come

A simple way to feel better.

You don't need to be an athlete. Heat and cold are just an easy, enjoyable way to unwind, sleep better and feel good in your own skin.

Ease tired muscles

A good sweat loosens up stiff, achy muscles and leaves your body feeling lighter - whether you've been training hard or just sitting at a desk all week.

Gentle on the heart

The heat gets your heart working softly, a little like a light walk, while you simply sit back and relax.

Better sleep

Most people find they sleep deeper and wake up feeling fresher after a session. It's one of the first things regulars mention.

Switch off

Time away from screens and to-do lists. Just heat, cold and a bit of quiet that's entirely your own.

The PikeNHot ritual

Hot, cold, rest | repeat.

Hot, then cold, then rest. It's simple, and it feels great. Here's how a session usually goes.

01

Heat

Settle onto the timber benches as the wood-fired stove climbs toward 80–90°C. Pour water over the stones for a wave of löyly steam and let the heat draw the tension out of you.

02

Cold

Step straight into the cold plunge. The shock sends blood rushing back to your core, sharpens the mind and leaves you buzzing, the contrast is where the magic happens.

03

Rest

Breathe, rehydrate and let your heart rate settle. Repeat the cycle two or three times across your 45-minute session, finishing calm, clear-headed and genuinely recovered.

Rooted in the community

Born on the pitch, built for the parish.

PikeNHot didn't appear in a city-centre spa. It grew out of a GAA club, where recovery has always mattered and where everyone already knows your name.

After every session and every match, the same problem came up: players had nowhere proper to recover. So we built it, a genuine sauna and cold plunge, steps from the changing rooms, open to members and the wider community alike.

Today it's used by senior panels, weekend warriors, parents, and people who've never kicked a ball in their life. The common thread is simple: everyone leaves feeling better than they arrived.
